Libya: 140 illegal immigrant rescued in Tripoli

Tripoli – Libya 2017/12/10 

The Libyan Coast Guard in Tripoli has been able to rescue 140 illegal immigrants recently and return them to Abu Sitta naval base, and the forces were also able to save about 156 people earlier from a boat in Sabratha. This comes within the framework of ongoing search and rescue carried out by the Coast Guard within the territorial waters of Libya, despite their limited available resources.
